Conduct these tests at least once weekly for the first 2 months, every other week during the 3rd month, once in the 4th month, and then every other month for the duration of therapy. Address any abnormalities promptly.
Rezlidhia 150 mg capsules can cause hepatotoxicity, indicated by elevated levels of aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), blood alkaline phosphatase, and bilirubin. Regularly monitor patients for signs of liver dysfunction, such as anorexia, fatigue, discomfort in the right upper abdomen, jaundice, or dark urine.
Rezlidhia treatment may lead to differentiation syndrome. If suspected, temporarily stop the treatment and initiate systemic corticosteroids (e.g., dexamethasone 10 mg IV every 12 hours) for at least 3 days until symptoms resolve.
Animal studies suggest that Rezlidhia may cause fetal harm if administered to pregnant women. Due to potential adverse effects on a breastfed child, advise women not to breastfeed during treatment and for 14 days after the last dose.
