Zolinza is a prescription medication used to address skin issues resulting from cutaneous T-cell lymphoma.
It is typically prescribed when other treatments have failed, stopped working, or if the cutaneous T-cell lymphoma worsens or recurs after previous medications.
The safety and effectiveness of Zolinza in children have not been established.
Warning & Precautions
You should avoid using Zolinza if you are allergic to vorinostat or have severe liver disease.
Do not use Zolinza during pregnancy, as it can harm the unborn baby.
Breastfeeding is not recommended while taking Zolinza.
To prevent dehydration, drink at least 2 liters of water daily while on Zolinza. Inform doctor if patient experience severe vomiting or diarrhea during treatment.
Make sure to inform all the healthcare providers about your medical conditions, allergies, and all medications patient is taking.
Do not crush or open a Zolinza capsule; swallow it whole. The contents can be harmful if they come into contact with patient eyes, mouth, nose, or skin. If this happens, wash the skin with soap and water or rinse the eyes with water.
Stop using Zolinza and contact doctor immediately if patient experience chest pain, sudden cough, wheezing, rapid breathing, coughing up blood, swelling or warmth in one or both legs, fever, chills, mouth sores, easy bruising or bleeding, bloody or tarry stools, or severe vomiting or diarrhea.
